My Training Log

This year, my goal is to run a 5k every month and decrease my time by at least 30 seconds each time. I’ve only run one 5K, and I took 2nd in my division, which was a pleasant surprise for me.

I also plan on running a half marathon by the end of the year. Eventually I’d like to get my 5K time under 20 minutes. My next 5K is May 17th, and my goal is to get my mile pace down to 7:20/mile.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. - Hebrews 12:1
