Woke up this morning to find my car windshield smothered in refried beans. Payback’s a b****. Haha. The other day, some friends of mine tp’ed our friends’ cars, and took some stuff from their garage. We gave the stuff back, but…Yeah. We plan on retaliating soon.

Had an awful day yesterday. Didn’t feel like doing anything today, but I’m so pissed and upset and just… feeling like ****, so my options were to eat, sleep or run. In the end, running sounded the most masochistic, so it was the most appealing. Didn’t get very far, but at least I did something.

I was actually planning on doing 7 miles. I haven’t done any even semi-long runs in forever. But I got out there, and my hip was sore from my IT band being tight or whatever. My socks were already chaffing at my ankles. I have mosquito bites all over my legs from the damn mosquito flying round my room last night, and they itched to no end. I felt obese trying to plod around town, sweating in the 90degree heat at eight in the morning. And I couldn’t get my mind off of yesterday’s events, which made me just want to punch a wall or kick in a car door. I’m probably better off staying home today, so no one gets hurt.

My boyfriend broke his femur 5 months ago, so he’s doing physical therapy for it now (he’s got a titanium rod in his leg and everything… what a savage). He has to ride his bike a lot, so tonight I ran next to him while he rode. It was super hot all day (up to 108!) so we waited until after dark, then went for a nice ride/run around town. I loved it. We definitely have to do that more often. Too bad my IT band is all irritated now. Gotta go stretch…

I’ve been doing it religiously. My leg hasn’t hurt for a while, so I’m working on the prevention aspect now. Hill repeats kicked my butt this morning. I love it. I’m hitting the pavement tomorrow morning again. :)
